Dr. Grochmal recently attended a conference to expand his services to increase his refractive surgery options for his patients in Baltimore. Implantable contact lenses (ICL’s) are a great alternative for patients who are not qualified for LASIK or are borderline. Often times, the glasses’ prescription is outside the range for safe and effective LASIK; or the cornea is too thin for LASIK.
