Sitting near a heating vent can severely dry out your eyes, so make sure that you remain a comfortable distance away the grate and any other heat source. Drinking plenty of water will also ensure that your skin and eyes stay hydrated and healthy.
- Eye Strain. Whether you’ve noticed that it’s getting increasingly harder to read your favorite book when curled up by the fireplace or that you can’t see as well as you used to when driving home because it’s getting dark out sooner and sooner, the end is result is more eyestrain. In partnership with Kaiser Permanente, the Military Health System, MedStar Health and other organizations, the ILN convenes health care innovators from around the world to share ideas, problems, solutions, and inspiration.

Malaria cases in Greece are increasing each summer, and whilst most of the cases are occurring in the more rural parts of the country away from the main tourist areas, travellers should be aware of the situation. The trial studies an investigational treatment to stop or slow the progression of keratoconus and corneal ectasia.

What are Cataracts?
It’s no secret that our eyesight gradually decreases as we age. However, certain conditions may cause the loss of vision to happen more rapidly. Cataracts are a common cause of vision loss, affecting millions of people over the age of 65.

Cataracts are a clouding of the lens within the eye, which can slowly diminish one’s vision. Additionally, health conditions like diabetes and overexposure to ultraviolet light have also been linked to the development of cataracts.
Some patients who develop cataracts may experience no symptoms of the condition at all, while many experience blurred or double vision. Other possible signs include frequent prescription changes in contact lenses or eyeglasses, as well as a diminished ability to see clearly at night.

While you’re walking (barefoot of course) do some deep breathing – you’ll be accomplishing two things at the same time (there is nothing like multi-tasking when it comes to your health). Walking barefoot on the grass will “ground” you, literally. Doing this will help you release built up electrical energy that’s in your body.
