Some forms of chronic low back pain could be caused by the Prioprione acne bacteria. The infection causes pain and bone swelling that could be treated with antibiotics. In a recent European study, 80% of the patients with chronic low back pain reported a decrease in pain and disability following 100 days of antibiotic treatment.
